It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Victor Gregory Schaefer (Surprise, Arizona), born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor J. Schaefer and Catherine A. Wergin-Schaefer; and his brothers, Gene Schaefer and Lloyd Schaefer. He is survived by: his wife Frances Schaefer of Surprise, AZ; his stepdaughter Mari Soliday (Beth) of Flagstaff, AZ; his stepgrandsons, Jonah and Jace Soliday of Austin, TX; his siblings, Joan Nelson of Manitowoc, WI, Nancy Borcalli of Oracle, AZ and Dean Schaefer (Deborah) of Manitowoc, WI.; and his nephew Donald Cramer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and friends.

Donations in Victor's name can be made to the Veterans Club or American Legion Club in Surprise, Prescott, or Cave Creek, AZ.
