The memory of Shirley Fuhrmark of Surprise, Arizona, who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Schalk and Ida Schalk; her husband Jim; her daughter Correen Matzl; and her brother Donald Schalk.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Brodnan (Jim) of Crystal Lake and Jeff Tilly (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Jenelle Hunt (Sean), Jacob Brodnan (Amber), Marissa Niesen (Danny) and Adam Matzl; and her great grandchildren, Rowan and Hazel.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Crystal Lake Memorial Park Cemetery (8012 Ridgefield Rd, Crystal Lake, IL 60012).
