She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Fox and Glen Fox; her husband Larry Simmons; her children, Timothy, Carmen, Judy and Kathy; and her siblings, Sonny, Donny and Betty.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Aguilar (Simmons); her son-in-law George Aguilar; her grandsons, Phillip Garza, Anthony Aguilar (Jennifer Aguilar), Jeremy Olivarria and Calistra (Georgia Aguilar); and her sisters, Joyce Nieto (Eddie Nieto), Lorraine Fox and Lourinda Fox. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
