He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Benson and Ida Kay Benson; his former wife Patricia A. Benson; and his son Jeremy P. Benson. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Benson; his daughter Leslie Benson; and his sister Jenny Jacobs. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
