It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Lourdes Roberts of Surprise, Arizona, born in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on July 6, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ygnacio Compean and Elisa Compean; her former husband L. A. Valenciano; and her brothers, Valentin Compean, Carlos Compean and Luis Compean.
She is survived by: her husband Donald H. Roberts; her daughter Lourdes "Angi" Aiello (Rob) of York; and her siblings, Ignacio Compean (Cindy) of Salinas, Margarita Hernandez (Cesar) of Las Cruces, Rosa Estep (Dwayne) of Muskogee, Elisa Compean of Campbell and Susan Gutierrez (Raymond) of Grand Prairie, Texas. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
