With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Axtell of Surprise, Arizona, who passed away on October 8, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blesie and Inda Packard Blesie; her spouse Marion R. Axtell; her daughter Peggy Bagenstos; and her siblings, Donald Blesie, Dale Blesie, Dorothy Prang and Delores Orlando.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Messenger (Keith) of Wittmann, AZ and Janis McCort (Sam) of Perth, Western Australia; and her grandchildren, Damon Butler, Cherise Miner (Shane), Mandy Parker (Mike), Darci Jackson, Scott Bagenstos, Beth Dobbins (Matt), Cale McCort (Michelle), Nathan McCort (Crystal), Tamar McCunniff (Jesse) and Ryan Messenger. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
