He is survived by: his daughter Payton Jones (Lindsay); his parents, John W. Jones and Cathleen Jones; and his sisters, Karey Jones-Salgado and Kim Davey (Ed). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
He traveled to New York during the beginning and unknown stages of the pandemic, not knowing the conditions or patient complexities that he would face. He never backed down from the assignment to care for all those with Covid-19.
