It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Salas of Surprise, Arizona, born in Des Moines, New Mexico, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fermin Salas and Pablita Salas; and his siblings, Robert, Fermin "Junior", Paul, Corrine and Carmen.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Martinez; his children, Gary (Ofelia) and Debbie; his grandsons, Gabriel (Chelie), Archer and Alex; and his great grandchild Annalise. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
