He is survived by: his wife Kathy of Surprise, Arizona; his children, Marti Kast (Ethan) of Spokane Valley, Washington and Colin Apthorp (Kaitlin) of Scottsdale, Arizona; his grandchildren, Russell, Toby and Liberty; his siblings, Scott Apthorp of Chardon, Ohio, Elizabeth Hagood of Chardon and Sherry Baron of Tulum, Mexico; his uncle Chuck Vogel of Lafayette, California; his brother Terry Douglas (Karla) of Kellogg; his brother-in-law Rick Douglas of Spokane Valley, Washington; and his pet Beau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
