She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, JoNell McKinley and Charlie Allen; her pet Snowball; her sister Charla Lee (Harold); her nephew Joel Kappes (Angela) of Santa Fe, NM; her daughter Tracy Etienne of Surprise; her granddaughters, Ashley Elrod (Zachary), Samantha Kappes, Danielle Kappes and Randi Kappes; her great grandchildren, Avery and Amelia; and her cousins, Tim and Jovonna Rainey.

She died December 17, 2020 in Surprise, Ariz. due to complications associated with COVID-19.

“I am at a loss for words... Jacque hadn't replied to my texts, so I searched to discover what I feared. My deepest condolences to her family at this most difficult time... I taught 4th grade with Jacque in the mid 2000s for just one year. She moved schools but we had remained friends ever since. She was one of the kindest and funniest people I have ever met. She will be greatly missed.”
