She is survived by: her husband Gary Peterson; her children, Jeni James (AZ), Aaron Peterson (WA) and Melanie Gabel (TN); her stepfather Gerald Scholer; and her brothers, John, Don, Jerry, Jeff and Dan. She is also survived by grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olympic View Baptist Church (4707 Elwood Dr W, University Place, WA 98466). A reception will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Even in her battle with Alzheimer's, Cindy lovingly recited the names of all of her 8 brothers and continued to share her beautiful music with the residents of the assisted living home where she lived.
