He is survived by: his wife Michelle Stanley; his daughter Meghan McGarry Allen; his son-in-law Jared Allen; his grandchildren, Jack Allen and Lily Allen; his sisters, Marjorie McGarry Appelman and Mary McGarry (Mary Kay); his brother-in-law Michael Stanley (Patty); and his nieces and nephews, Jason Stanley, Bree Stanley Ziolkowski (Joe), Jake Appelman (Jen), Brittnie Burke Keilman (Dan) and Benjamin McGarry Burke (Megan).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association and/or American Heart Association.
