He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Erin Spatz (Keith) of Newton, MA, Patrick Jilek (Karn) of West Fargo, ND and David Jilek, Jr. of Brookline, MA; his grandchildren, Ryan, Danny, Anne Spatz, Cole Jilek and Cameron Jilek; his brother Jerome Jilek (Imogene); and his brother-in-law Jerome Andersen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Hospice.
