It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dennis Hansen in Surprise, Arizona, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clayton Hansen and Orlena Hansen; his brother Conley Ray; and his grandparents, Rudolf, Bertha Hansen of Miltonvale, KS, Henry and Bessie Weigel of Guthrie Center, IA..
He is survived by: his wife Colette of Frey; his daughter Danica Patchen (Jason); his grandchildren, Jackson, Sam Patchen and McKenna Regehr (Matt); and his siblings, Clint Hansen (Billie) and Sheila Putnam (Larry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest donations be made to CurePSP Tribute Funds at psp.org, to the Nebraska ASPCA, or to the Wesleyan Church of Red Cloud, Nebraska.
