Constance J. Mertes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2024, at the age of 74, Constance J. Mertes of Surprise, Arizona passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Constance departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Constance. Though Constance may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Wempe and Elsie Wempe. She is survived by: her husband Mike Mertes; her son Lance; her daughter-in-law Kathy; her brother Rick; her sister-in-law Cecilia (Mick); her nephew Jacob; and her granddaughters, Emma, Gracie and Rachel.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Surprise Funeral Care (16063 W Bell Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374).
