He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Simpson and Geraldine O. McCally; and his son James. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; and his children, Robert (Carol) of Chambersburg, PA, Kathryn (Michael) of Lexington, SC and Stephen (Carol) of Peoria, AZ. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Flowers may be sent to Menke Funeral home at 12420 N 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351 and the family asks for any memorial donations to go to SARRC (Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center).
