With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billie Jeannine Sakata in Surprise, Arizona, born in Lake City, Arkansas, who passed away on May 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Johnston and Cleva Johnston (Spann); and her husband John Sakata of Phoenix, Arizona.. She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Dhooge (D. J.) of Surprise, Arizona; and her brother Skip Phillips of Las Vegas, Nevada. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
