He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Allen and Naomi Allen; his wife Mary Carole; and his siblings, Martin and Donna.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn Allen, Laura Allen and James Allen (Ted); his grandchildren, Victoria, Hannah and Joey; his siblings, Zane (Karen), Dianne (Leonard), Dee and Patricia; and his son-in-law Ron Mulla. He is also survived by grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
