She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Jaloma Barela and Ramona Chavez Barela; her brothers, Gilbert and David; her husband Lorenzo Oton Velasquez; her children, Christina, Lorenzo, Victor and Patricia; and her great grandchildren, Lorenzo and Brooklyn Velasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Gabriel Velasquez, Amber Velasquez (Alfred), Vincent Velasquez (Hunter) and Brittany Velasquez; her siblings, Margaret and Pete; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Sosh, Janelle Sosh, Jonathon McCord (Sarah), Leticia Velasquez, Joshua Velasquez (Victoria) and Justin Velasquez (Kristin).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (11 Church Ave, Superior, AZ 85173). A rosary will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (300 W Sunset Dr, Superior, AZ 85173).
