We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Joaquin Diaz-Gonzalez of Superior, Arizona. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Villanueva of Superior, Arizona.; and his sons, Michael Diaz-Gonzalez (Josie) and Johnny Diaz-Gonzalez (Liz).

Following his retirement from Kennecott Copper, which later became ASARCO, Joaquin spent the remainder of his life in Superior, Arizona, where he donated his time helping out the St. Francis church during the fiestas in the hamburger booth and becoming involved with the church youth group (CYM).
