She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Rivera and Casimira Rivera. She is survived by: her husband Manuel Ruiz Jr.; her children, Marcella, James, Jo, Janice and Jocelyn; and her adoptive daughter Valerie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (11 Church Ave, Superior, AZ 85173). A rosary was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (231 W Sunset Dr, Superior, AZ 85173).
