He is survived by: his wife Carole Beatty-Murphy; his children, Marybeth Cartmell (David), Jeff Murphy (Heather), Cathy Derrico and Michael Murphy; his grandchildren, Kristy Acker (Timo), Jessica Cartmell, Quinn Murphy, Joey Derrico and Lydia Derrico; his stepchildren, Steve Beatty and Meagan Kitchen (Josh); and his stepgrandsons, Grady and Blake.
