He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Sorenson and Vearl Sorenson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Sorenson (Walz); his daughters, Monica (Patric Ernsberger) and Tosha Sorenson; and his grandchildren, Olivia and Calvin Ernsberger.
