He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Buettner. He is survived by: his sons, Donald J. Buettner Jr. (Patricia) and Timothy M. Buettner (Shannon); his grandson Wyatt M. Buettner; and his sister Ursula Shaw.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery (10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
