“I want to tell the family that I was a coworker with Vern on the CAP, Roosevelt and Stewart Mountain Dams, and we relied on his expertise to construct projects that will be around for ages to come. I became very good friends with him, and over the years, we shared many stories, some, to numerous to mention, over and over again. I not only respected him in the professional setting, but, as a true friend. I am so sad to hear of his passing. What a special person he was to the family.. John Wilkie”
