He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer P. Huffman and Geneva Huffman (Ayers); his wife Diane; his sons, Terry Simpson (Sarah) and Gary Lane; his siblings, Karen Huffman of Illinois, Sue Ellen Green (Ron) of Illinois and Ronald Huffman; and his grandson Andrew Donald Bauer (Andy).

When the coronavirus issues are resolved, we will have a celebration of his life.
