Robert Miller Obituary
Robert L. (Bob) Miller age 80, passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 19, 2014. Bob was born in Audubon Iowa to Harvey and Harriet Miller. He enlisted in the US Air Force upon graduation from school and served proudly. It was while stationed at Luke Air Force Base that he met the love of his life, Bonnie. After discharge from the military, he began a lifetime career with El Paso Natural Gas Company, retiring after 39 years of service.
Upon retirement, Bob & Bonnie enjoyed traveling and taking extensive RV trips with the Grand Canyon Winnies Club, their many Winnebago RVing friends and for 8 years lived and traveled full time in their RV. Bob served as the President of the Grand Canyon Winnies and President of the International Association of State Club Presidents.
Bob was a member of Willcox BPOE 2131, Acacia Masonic Lodge, El Zaribah Temple Guard, and served as a DeMolay Dad and Rainbow Dad. He loved to spend time with family, and doing for them, when his health still allowed. His infectious smile and gregarious laugh brought joy to friends and family alike. Survivors include wife Bonnie, sons Mark (Charlotte), Dean (D'Anna), grandchildren Ronnie Smith, Zebadiah (Tovah), Zarek and Zaylen (his “Sweet Pea”) Miller, and brother Charles (Betty).
Also surviving are sister- in-laws, Laura Anne, Emma Kaye, and Mary Raye and brother-in-law Frank (Vicki), 10 nieces, 2 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
