He was predeceased by: his mother Maria Nicolasa Resendez Rivas. He is survived by: his father Juan Perez Rivas (Alma Delgado Rivas); his daughters, Veronica Rivas (Tito Solis), Maribel Rivas Ruiz (Manuel Ruiz), Alma Eredy Rivas Trujillo (Alfonso Trujillo), Andrea Rubie Rivas Peña (Ricky Y. Peña) and Ariana Laura Rivas; his grandchildren, Esmeralda Sevilla Rivas, Ricky Rivas Peña, Samantha Sevilla, Alyssa Valerie Peña, Crispin Angel Solis, Alexis Milagros Solis, Alexandra Rivas, Manuel Julian Ruiz, Victoria Angela Trujillo, Araceli Ruby Solis, Cruz Eduardo Solis and Daniel Juan Solis; his great grandchild Daleyza Adalie Estudillo; his brothers, Jose Rivas, Jaime Rivas, David Rivas, Santos Rivas, Alvaro Rivas and Uriel Rivas; his pets, Tigre and Drogo; and his uncle Guillermo "Memo" Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
