He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Pearl (Goodman) and George Cornelius Nance; his siblings, George Russell, Ethan Allan, James Burthon and Eleanor Juanita; his wife Doris Lee Paris of Lexington; his stepchildren, Joyce Elaine Kelley (Gary) of Goodyear, Mary Rae Dean Beretta of Mesa and Raymond Earl Nance, Jr. (Pam) of Albany, Georgia.; his son George Robert Nance (Joanne) of Nevada; his grandchildren, Christy Bartels (Randy), Dezarae Kennady (Travis), Braden Beretta, Amber Butler (Jason), Autumn Nance, Destiny York (Kevin), Catherine Nance, Robert Nance, William Nance (Jennie), Zachary Nance and Thaddeus Nance; and his great grandchildren, Rebecca Bartels, Justin Bartels, Corbyn Schmaltz, Caiden Kennady, Kobe Kennady, Kali York, Conner York, Durrah Butler, Porter Butler, Allana Hurley, Magnum Hurley, Coltin Hurley, Iris Nance, Lily Nance and Mike Nance. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
