He was predeceased by: his children, David Paul DeBeer and Jane Kathleen DeBeer; his sister Ruth Stricker Dayton; and his parents, Rev. Peter and Eleanor DeBeer.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughter Karen Dunn (Lance) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Alyssa Aronson (Jake) of Iron Mountain and Kyle Dunn (Emily) of North Liberty; and his great grandchild Emma Jane Aronson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be directed to the Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank, a faith-based Non-Profit Organization that provides for people who are hungry and in need.
