He was predeceased by: his mother Pearl Mullins; and his siblings, Clarence, Fred, Bev, Ethel, Helen, Ruby and Anna Laura.

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Smith); his brothers, Don and Jerry; his sons, Jeff (Michelle), Paul (Molly) and Chris (Linda); his nephew James Deel (Nancy); and his nieces, Ava McCoy and Lynn Hayes (Tom).
