He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Ruth Shifrin; and his brother Ira (Marion). He is survived by: his wife Maxine Feder; his children, Risa Heywood (Patrick) and Scott (Tammy); his grandchildren, Amanda Heywood, Rebecca Heywood (Camila), Robbie Daitzman (Lauren), Steven Daitzman (Sydney) and Josh Daitzman (Rebecca); his great grandchild Declan Daitzman; and his sister Janice Wentz (Dick).
