It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael John Barnett of Sun City, Arizona, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Barnett and Helen Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Valorie Everton; his children, Jon (Julie Michie) and Kathryn (Nick Trevett); his grandchildren, Jacob Michie, Hannah Trevett and Tyler Trevett; his nieces, Alissa Franko and Chelsea; his nephew Keith Inglis; his siblings-in-law, Georgia Franko and Paul Franko; and his friends, Ione Macker, Candace, Orville Salway, Betty and Chuck Schumm.
