He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Simpkin and Alice Simpkin; and his brother H. D. "Hal". He is survived by: his wife Mary Simpkin; his daughters, Elizabeth Simpkin (David Wetherbee), Janice Simpkin and Sandra Gordon (Joseph); his grandson Noah Gordon; and his brother Arthur Simpkin (Ellen).
