She was predeceased by: her parents, William Meyer and Lucile Meyer (Birkett); her spouse Harley Simmelink; her sons, Steven and Michael Simmelink; her stepson Roger Hawkins; her children-in-law, Celia Simmelink and Dennis Welsh; and her grandsons, Michael Pfister and Matthew Workman.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Simmelink of Dade City and Danny Simmelink of Goodyear, Arizona; her granddaughters, Mary Pfister-Fregoso (Cres) of Grand Haven and Diann Welsh of Sycamore; and her son Eldon Hawkins, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
