He was predeceased by: his brother Lambert Ruhnke. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Ruhnke-David (K. N. "Jack" David); his grandson Christopher D. Ruhnke (Heidi); his great grandchildren, Caleb Ruhnke of Wichita, KS, Cailynn, Carson, Jonathan Ruhnke and Warrensburg; his wife Bertha Marie; his son Major Robert A. Ruhnke; and his grandson Robert James Ruhnke.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Trinity Lutheran School Endowment Fund, Atchison or to the Special Olympic and may be sent in care of Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home.
