She was predeceased by: her sister Marian McGimsey; her husband Vernon Bangert; and her son Randy Bangert. She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Knutsen (Ron Knutsen) and Linda Sawyer (David Sawyer). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
