She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Klebenow and Margaret Klebenow. She is survived by: her sisters, Caroline, Delores, Margie, Betty and Elaine; her husband Andrew Anthony Kapsos; her children, Philip and Andrea; and her granddaughter Rebecca.

Betty was a devout Catholic and would attend service every Sunday up until the start of the pandemic in 2020.
