He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Brent and Grace Hunteman Brent; his wife Bernadine Donovan Brent; and his children, Debbie Raatz and Mike Brent.

Earl was a veteran of the Korean War and a life-long member of the V.F.W. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of the Valley of Sun City Arizona.
