He was predeceased by: his former wife Ann C. Shely. He is survived by: his wife Jean Shely; his daughter Elizabeth A. Shely; his grandchildren, Katherine Sheldon, Christine Shely, Robert Shely Jr. (Alison), Kimberly Shely, Allison Shely (Adam) and Jenna Shely; his stepchildren, Michelle Rittenhouse and Erik Lessien (Christine); his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Durham (Andrew), Allison Rittenhouse, Anna Rittenhouse and Erika Cubilio (Jason); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace, George and Gwyneth.
