He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Mari; his brothers, Joe and Frank; and his wife Ruth.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Arnold; his sister-in-law Claire Klar; his daughter Karen Stempinski (Erwin); and his grandchildren, Larry Drury (Caryn), Erin Stempinski (Sebastian), Meridith Stempinski, John Stempinski (Stephanie) and Jason Stempinski (Jill). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
