He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Leach and Mabel Elizabeth Pugh (Pugh); and his siblings, Virginia Castelnova and Lester P Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given in his honor to United Hospice of Sun City, AZ or the American Veterans Association.
