She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arnold Sterling and Bernice Sterling (Wood); her husband Thomas; her siblings, Thomas Sterling, Elaine Therrien and Janice Wiley; and her children, Elizabeth Thacker (Jim), George Glaser (Anne), Dawn D'Alessio (Ralph), Sharon Cedor (Eric) and Kate Warner (David). She was also cherished by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
