He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Walker and Margaret Walker (Vaughan); his siblings, David Vaughan, William (Bill), Isabel, Margaret (Peg) and Elizabeth (Sal); his son David Vaughan; and his grandson Andrew McClain (Andy).

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley; his daughter Peggy; his brother Richard Walker (Dick); and his children, Karin McClain (Peggy Meeks) and Mark Walker. He is also survived by wife, the best children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
