He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond James and Edith Mabel Richards (Arehart); and his brothers, Kenneth and Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Donna Russell; his children, Reid (Brenda) of Lincoln, NE, Ryan (Aimee) of Buckeye, AZ and Renae (Loren) of Marshalltown, IA; his father-in-law Duane Russell; his sisters-in-law, Carol Eiserman (Rick), Linda Schriner (Craig) and Ronda McCoy (Vance); and his nieces and nephews, Randy Richards (Corinne), Robyn Sprunk (Jack), Shelli Seagle (Harry), Ryan Eiserman, Holly Penido (Nick), Kait Smith (Bill), Lauryn Foos (Trevor), Tyler McCoy (Kaity), Tanner McCoy (Kaycee) and Meredith (Trevor).
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory to Hospice of the Valley AZ.
