He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Benavidez and Catalina "Katie" Benavidez. He is survived by: his children, Eddie, Joseph, Tony Benavidez and Connie Hunter. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
