She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Ayala and Cornelia Ayala; her husband Paul Montano; her son Paul Montano; and her grandsons, Paul Figueroa and Frankie Gonzalez.
She is survived by: her children, Roberto Burboa (Martina Burboa), Abelardo Montano, Maria Elena Burboa, Elizabeth Johnson (Ray Johnson), Rosana Rios (Eddy Rios), Mayra Montano and Miriam Montano Pierce (Felix Valdes). She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
