He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Jed Flake and Joseph Moody; and his brother-in-law Zachary Cory. He is survived by: his wife Kayla Ann Flake; his parents, Ron Flake and Mindy Flake of Snowflake, AZ; his sibling Devin Flake (Heather); his niece Lilly of Murfreesboro, TN; and also, Sarina Cory of Gilbert, Joshua Cory of Houston Texas, Danny Cory of Gilbert, Alyssa Turner (Jordan) of Orem Utah, Dallin Flake and Spencer Flake.
