He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Leslie Ballard and Melva Rogers Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Judith Wade Ballard; and his children, Melvin Kerry Ballard (Maura), Jonathan Charles Ballard (Jenilyn), David Leslie Ballard (Sandy), Janelle Jessop (John) and Jennifer Cardita (Greg). He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren plus his 4 1/2 great grandchildren.
