He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond Stratton and Millie Hunt Stratton; his wives, Pearl Freeman Stratton and Anne "Peggy" Dodson Meeks; and his siblings, Glen Raymond, Enmer Raymond and Larue Bigler.
He is survived by: his sister Mabel Ison Jones; his children, Sherry Hancock (George Merlin) and Russell Stratton (Felicia); and his stepsons, Tom Meeks (Pat), Kenneth Meeks (Judy) and Robert Meeks (Jerry). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, twenty-seven great great grandchildren.
